Growing up with 3 brothers who were into photography, in a house that the eldest brother built a darkroom in, I was bound to take it up. And I've been learning and finessing the art ever since my first time sitting in the dark, listening to the sound of a film canister being opened, film fed onto a spool, and developer being poured.

I like to think that if I can't capture the image on the frame, then I'm not doing it right. So, I don't do any post production - the only thing I allow myself to do is minor cropping or a slight rotation to change my frequent "lean" of what is apparently around 2 degrees...

I take my camera everywhere, and since I found a lightweight, compact tripod, I pretty much don't have an excuse NOT to take pictures. In as many places as possible... in fact, by last count, I've been to 35 of the United States, so there's still a few left...
