An initiative of Ashoka, Youth Venture was formed in 1996 to inspire and invest in teams of young people to start and lead their own social ventures. Our goal is to create a network of young changemakers all over the world. We are currently operating in 17 countries.

Because of the city's strong history of innovation, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy, a Youth Venture office opened its doors in Seattle in late 2007. We have since launched 27 local youth-led teams who have impacted hundreds of young people throughout the area.
