Hi everyone, I'm widowed, retired and have been into photography for many many years although its only since my wife passed away and I retired that I've found the time to

enjoy it as much as i do today.

My first proper camera was a Voightlander Range Finder that I bought in Aden in 1966 but consequently sold at Christmas of the same year back in the UK as I needed the money, a decision I've always regretted.

I am currently a Canon devotee, with EOS 20D, 40D, and 350D bodies in use. Favourite Lenses are Canon 70-200mm f2.8 L IS, Canon 24-105mm f4 for general work with a Sigma 105mm f2.8 EX dg for Macro.

I am lucky enough to have a good friend who is a florist, so occationally I can borrow a bloom from him to photograph.

November 09- Unfortunately I'm not able to get out as much as I used to, so I've recently fallen in love with texturising some of my older photographs and am enjoying the experience greatly. I apologise to all my friends if my venture into textures becomes boring, but I will try to make them as intereresting as possible.
