Updated 21/8/22 First of all, thanks to all for your 'faves' and comments - if you would like to give me constructive criticism as well as positive feedback, I would be very grateful. After massive decluttering and the addition of many photos not before made public, I am still in the process of adding more. I love travelling and photography. I am from Northern Ireland originally but now live in West Yorkshire in the north of England - both places have many photogenic locations which I love observing, capturing and documenting. I tend to take photos when I'm in a place rather than go out to take photos. I have taken most of the photos on here with a very modest digital camera and some with a Panasonic Bridge camera. For the past few years, I've been using a Sony HX90 V which is easier for me to carry but doesn't take brilliant night shots and I don't carry a tripod around with me, so night shots are limited and/or not very good yet. I have uploaded some camera phone photos, even though I can see they are inferior to those taken with a 'proper camera!' My phone has sometimes been the only tool available at the time to take these as I am increasingly finding it difficult to carry a camera with me. I feel that my strengths are in observation and composition. I have bursts of Flickr activity, sometimes uploading many and then sometimes having a break of a year or more. I enjoy looking at the photos uploaded by my contacts and in groups - I marvel at the technical and creative skills of all.
