Now in Semi Retirement. People that know me say that l have had a colourful life. l left school at 15 and went to navy college a day after my 16th birthday. l became a deck sailor a position which enabled me to travel all over the World. I loved the sea but at times when weather was bad you had to do the best that you can. When l eventually decided that l wanted to do something else with my life l became a drummer for a number of Rock Bands playing through the 1970s eventually turning professional and playing in some nice places. After 10 years l was not enjoying the life so much. They were crazy years. l needed to get away and went to lndia for three months. l came to Corby Northamptonshire during the 80s and was given the opportunity to become a local government officer studied as an older student and got my qualifications. l work now just 3 days in 9 which is great for me. l still enjoy travelling meeting people and of course l really like photography. l enjoy being on Flickr.
