Spicer Group is based out of Saginaw, Michigan, and has offices in St. Johns, Belleville, Lansing, and Benton Harbor.

The Planning Services area has been a strong component of Spicer Group for over 20 years. Our national and state award-winning planning professionals have prepared over 50 Michigan Department of Natural Resources recreation plans in recent years.

In 2006, Spicer Group was awarded the MRPA Outstanding Park Design Award for the Saginaw Valley Rail Trail.

In addition to park designs, recreation plans, and park master plans, the Planning Services area has helped numerous communities secure over $12 million in recreation grants to achieve their goals in providing recreational opportunities.
