Ruby is one of the great artists on Flickr. Her work is marvelously varied in style, subject matter, and place (she loves to travel). She works equally well in color and black/white. I think the most dominant feature of her work is the sense of atmosphere--one feels the place, the scene, the object. In part this is a result of her use of texture, in part her natural feel for composition. Add to this that she is a painter of fine talent and you have, as I said, one of the great artists on Flickr.
