Ogni volta che scatto una foto, con quel "click" aziono una piccola macchina del tempo.

Cammino, esploro, mi faccio guidare dall'istinto in attesa di trovarmi nel posto giusto al momento giusto.

A volte è iI primo a essere importante; altre volte lo è il secondo.

In qualche occasione speciale lo sono entrambi, almeno secondo le emozioni che improvvisamente mi arrivano.

Se ho fortuna, riesco fermare quel particolare istante in una immagine.

Se ho molta fortuna, l'immagine racchiuderà un po' delle emozioni provate in quell'istante per poterle poi rivivere guardandola.

Se ho tantissima fortuna, altre persone nel guardare quell'immagine proveranno delle emozioni, non necessariamente le mie, ognuno le proprie.

Per questo amo la fotografia.

Every time I take a picture, with that "click" I activate a small time machine.

I walk and explore following my instinct, until I bump into the right place at the right time.

Sometimes it’s the first one to be important; other times it’s the second one.

On some special occasions both of them, at least according to the emotions that suddenly I perceive.

If I'm lucky, I can freeze that particular instant in a picture.

If ‘m very lucky, the image will convey a bit of the emotions felt at that specific moment and bring them back to life while looking at the picture itself.

If ‘m really lucky, other people will look at that picture and feel emotions, not necessarily mine, each one their own.

This is why I love photography.
