I'm a life-long birder (since 1966) and nature-nut, born (in 1961) and raised in far northern New York but living in Patagonia, Arizona since 1998. Over the last couple years I've become addicted to photographing butterflies and reptiles, since my point-and-shoot camera does much better with closer subjects than birds usually seem to be. I've been to Dominica, Panama, Alaska, and all over the lower 48 states, but really love the fascinating biodiversity of southeast AZ.
