Xie-Wei has a most delicate eye for nature and colours. The way he captures flowers, mountains, water, makes them look different from current flowers, mountains and water; one is always caught by this contemplative atmosphere in his pictures. He likes austerity and directness, which reminds me of the main atrributes of poetic language, but many of his images also seem to imply a story, which shows a certain connection to narrative. I think he's a great photographer.
