I always think its better if someone else describes you and your work so here is part of a interview with Beth Livesay 'Faded Beauty' feature in Somerset Studio Jul/Aug 09 a U.S. Publication

Priscilla’s examination of the past through her art does provide comfort, just as a cup of tea or coffee are soothing and associated with the colors and warmth of daybreak.

“All my pieces are nostalgic in their essence and each one I create is related to a recollection or a memory.” This stitching together of memories stems from her affinity to

collect. Priscilla admits to being an accumulator of tea sets, ceramics and vintage kitchen wear. These findings and her fondness for memoir are why she initially began sketching

objects instead of landscapes and animals. With each piece of art sketched and stitched a fragment of the past resurfaces. Priscilla Jones resides in the United Kingdom.

Her work will be featured in two forthcoming books:

Sculpting in Wire by Cathy Miles (published by A&C Black) will be out in May 2009, and Machine Stitch

Perspectives by Jane Mckeating and Alice Kettle will be out in November 2010. To learn more about
