I'm a 23-year-old ametuer photographer. My interest began when I was 12-years-old and won second place in my county fair with a photo I just took by chance. I decided to keep trying for first place and found I had a talent for the art. Things just kind of took off from there.

At the age of 17 I found out that I was born with a severe astigmatism in my right eye, making me legally blind in that eye. I've never thought of myself as having a visual impairment. If anything I'm grateful for it. Photography has given me the ability to see things in an entirely new light, the ability to see something beautiful in the most ordinary of things, and with 20/15 vision in one eye and 20/400 in the other I can see it from two perspectives.
