I don't remember how I found Stephanie's photography, but she is a friend in photography I have never wanted to part ways with. I love her technique with Photography and the Camera itself. At times, I have guessed that she had a top-of-the-line cam only to discover her modest tool was not interfering with her creativity. As I expressed today, she reminds me of a gifted writer with the pen or typewriter, or keyboard pounding out the best novels… she does this with the Camera and Photographs. If you haven't before, visit her stream & come back. You will see what I mean. She has a gift with bokeh among other things, but it is deep & substantial, not light & fancy. I am so glad to have ever crossed paths here. Thank you Stephanie. (And thank you for your loyalty & never giving up on me when I go through my dry spells, or learning photography away from the web).

I found Stephanie's photo stream from another one of my flickr contacts,I looked at her stream after seeing her lovely icon and as soon as I clicked over to her photo stream I was hooked on her beautiful images... Stephanie has a way of portraying images in the best light, they are warm and always kind of make you feel like sighing, if that makes sense... after seeing her images they just have a way of making you feel at home and that she could be your sister or your best friend-she is really one of the nicest people I have encountered on flickr and she is very generous with helping you anytime you have a question and is very sincere in wanting to help you, she is encouraging and very thoughtful in her comments as well.... I would say meeting Stephanie on flickr has helped me discover new aspects of my own photography, especially in textures-she opened a whole new world for me... and for that I am very grateful... I always love seeing her photos of family, she is able to capture small moments that make such a big impact on life-you can feel her love for her family and it's really inspiring to see her work....

Let me tell you about Stephanie…….. It’s so very hard in this world to find friends, let alone, good friends. I have found that they are so very few and far between. I have never actually met Stephanie, but I know in my heart that she would be one of those precious few. To say that she has been a joy to have as a flickr friend would be an understatement. She has been a blessing to me. I look forward to visiting her stream every day to see what new and beautiful shot she has come up with. And the words……..oh, the words…… Stephanie always has the perfect words to accompany her pictures. Whether it’s a beautiful quote that she’s picked out, or something that she has written herself, it always seems to resonate perfectly with whatever I’m feeling at that particular place in time, and that is such a gift. Her pictures have been an inspiration and a learning place for me as well. So wonderful when you can find not only a friend, but an inspiration and someone who not only teaches you, but encourages you to reach farther and do more. I never thought I would find such a friend on the internet, but I can honestly say, that if we were to meet in person, I am sure that we would be fast friends. Some day, hopefully we will be able to sit down and talk photography in person (with tea and ‘crumpets’ of course), but until then, it’s always such a joy to visit her stream as well as for her to visit mine. I really got to notice Rivendell when she started her gratitude series, so many wonderful images she created there.
