I am struck by how honest and soulful Grace's portraits are. Not gritted or prettied up. What we have is a full blooded human portrait. People who first come in contact with a person who has a camera often feel at risk of the photographer taking their image AND their soul. Grace leaves her subjects unharmed but does share their image and soul with us all.
