I am a full time Mom of two lovely young ladies, married to an incredible man and living life to it's fullest. My dreams are being fulfilled every single day.

I have sewn for as long as I can remember but only in recent years has it become a more active part of my life. I am self-taught and always eager to learn new techniques and styles. I don't consider myself traditional nor modern in my styles, I just am me and always willing to try.

Civil War - making Farmers Wife for the hubby

Travel - as we are expats

Kitchen - I love to cook & bake

Color - bright and cheery really are inviting to me!

Japanese - I keep hoarding them, the weaves and (oddly neutral) colors just cry out to me.

Text - I love inspiring words and phrase, definitions, etc.

Dislikes:

Traditional holiday prints, I like some whimsy, and a sense of the holiday.

My sewing style:

I can't really describe it, I like people to expect the unexpected. I often top-stitch my pieces in a coordinating color, I like the challenge of making those stitches perfect, and the accent of color where you least expect it. Zippers - I love, and rarely do I use a perfect match. I tend to coordinate or add a zing of color. Pockets - yes, please, lots!! I take great pride in my work and will rip and stitch innumerable times, I want my seams to match, my zippers straight and my details eye catching.
