I'm an herbalist who loves sewing, embroidery, paper crafts, and gardening.

I was born in June, and so was my sister (a year apart), that's why two june bugs.

I love doing vintage pattern embroidery, knitting, a little crochet around the edges of my vintage embroidered things, and quilting. love colors and design and making something both utilitarian and beautiful. As a young woman I loved to draw and paint but have gotten away from it -- being around inspiring folks takes me back there.

I love a garden and the energy it brings. My ideal job would be setting up an old time farm stand that combines herbal goods that aren't frou-frou, but are wonderfully fragrant and effective. I would sell the garden harvest, but also vintage-like things such as a farmhouse apron with embroidered pocket, and thirsty muslin dish towels tied up with a twill ribbon that you can use for something else too.
