Hello,

I have always been interested in photography it seems, getting involved with 35mm photography in High School. I wandered away from it while raising a family, opting more for point and shoot camera while running from activity to activity.

One of my sons bought a digital SLR before traveling to Iceland and England a few years back and when I saw the quality of the images I was hooked. I bought an entry level Nikon D-60 and have had a lot of fun learning what the camera can do and also different post processing techniques. I am very much a student and a work in progress, as you will see by the different styles in my photostream.

I travel pretty extensively for work and have recently started to take my camera along which I have found makes my trips a little more enjoyable, it has certainly made me explore these areas for photo opportunities.

I just upgraded my camera to a Nikon D7000 so there is more learning and exploring ahead. Thanks for looking and commenting, I appreciate it.
