I have a PhD in responsive and emotive wearable technology and develop wearables that explore nonverbal communication by visualising and broadcasting physiological data associated with for example emotions and other states of the wearer.

I'm also a creative consultant for online activities, websites, communities and events, I specialise in technology, education, community and the arts. Plus I also design and develop learning materials and lead workshops for school students in C programming and electronics via wearable technology / e-textiles for school students in educational establishments.

In a previous life I was Senior Producer at BBC Learning and also Technologist at BBC R&D where amongst other things I used to co-run BBC Backstage, the BBC's internal/external developer network, plus I organised a Women in Tech network for my colleagues.
