Photographs...treasure on paper.

I have many photos of my father and grandmother taken in the 1930-40's. My grandmother taking my father to school...the old homestead where my grandmother was raised... a snap of her entire family on picnic. All the kids were in their teens and twenties... all gone to rest now. I wonder if the photos were as treasured then as they are now.

 

I went digital about 7 years ago. I started with a Sony CyberShot, then to a Pentax IST ds (2 of them in fact... each returned after failure) , a Panasonic FZ30, D80, D2x, D300 and now I am using a Nikon D700. Each of these cameras have been capable of taking great pictures. Sadly, the doofus with his finger on the shutter button shares little of this capability.
