I am an avid photographer and I have taken photos of a wide variety of subjects over the years. I am primarily interested in nature these days , but I'll shoot anything . Living here in the NorthWest provides alot of unique opportunities for photographing very diverse flora , fauna and geography . Having multiple volcanoes within several hours reach is a treasure . I shoot both digital and film and I scan my negatives and slides into my computer with a pro grade scanner . I already have two friends on Flickr and hope to make more. If it seems I have a thing for Mt. Rainier, I do . I Love it and it loves me back. I am not from the northwest but when I arrived here in 1977, it was right there in my face and awesome. Rainier is such an important living thing here that it deserves our respect . I have climbed Rainier to the summit 3 times and appreciate its ability to be extremely powerful and ruggedly beautiful at once. Rainier is alive in every sense of the word at all times.
