Even though I shoot a lot of images I don't think I'm that good of a photographer. I have a lot to learn and I get farther behind every year.

I love to hunt and I do most of it with my camera. I know deer and wildlife and how, when and where to find them and the photography is just my way of documenting adventures.

I have an old beat up manual focus Nikon 600/f4 and and a new Nikon auto focus 300/f2.8 and I go out and just do the best I can and have fun at it.

(Update) Now I can say I have a newer Nikon 600mm F/4e Auto Focus. I have a Nikon D850 on it and everyday I am amazed at the images that come out of it. I am also using a Z7ii. But I'm looking forward to the Z9.
