Nav, has been a long time friend here on flickr. But recently I commissioned him to re-root a kiraz head for me. I was so glad with the process, cause he was very tentative to my needs and checked in with me during every step of the process, so that I'd be satisfied with my choice of color and styling etc. He did an amazing job! My dream kiraz doll has come true! Many thanks to Nav of Virgin-Archer Studios for a job well done!

nav has a great collection and it is always nice to see new pictures in his stream. the pictures are sooo good (and the dolls are so wonderfully presented on them), that you think he works as photographer for a doll catalogue or book! it is nice to chat with him and i met him as a very kind, friendly and reliable character. and as someone with a delightful sense of humor! besides, he is a wonderful ooak artist and i especially love his classic hollywood actress series! some of my vintage petras enjoyed a touch-up in his studio and they returned in such a great look that i only can recommend his work!!!

There's alot of people on flickr who dabble in doll collecting, one doll here and there like myself, but Nav's stream is a totally different story. I'm always amazed when he uploads a new rare doll I've never heard of ( like Senorita Lili or Barbara parlante that I love so much!) and it's not just one or two with basic comments about her history, no he's got three or four in every hair color and wearing outfits right out of their catalogue. That's true collecting! If that wasn't enough he's a brilliant artist,his ooak repaints dolls have some of the most realistc features and his ooak AA dolls ( check out his version of Black PJ!) are simply the best. It's been a pleasure being able to chat with him over the past few months about dolls and collecting. Love, Joe
