I began collecting Colleen Corby pictures by scanning from my own collection of Seventeen and other 1960's fashion magazines. The first website dedicated to the Sixties fashion model icon Colleen Corby was created in 2004 by ModelBehavior at the now defunct MSN groups website. It was called "The First Colleen Corby Fan Community". It flourished and grew as many people, including fashion aficionados like myself, and including celebrated 1960's models well known by sight if not by name contributed pictures to the site. Later, there were two outgrowth sister-sites born out of that original MSN Colleen Corby Fan Community. One was another Colleen Corby MSN website simply called "ColleenCorby", and the other was called "MiniMadMod60's" also at MSN. ModelBehavior, the first Administrator of The First Colleen Corby Fan Community, was instrumental in birthing both of those off-shoot sites. In 2007 when he moved on to other projects he made me the new Administrator of his MSN The First Colleen Corby Fan Community. At the same time I was flattered to be made an assistant manager and resident artist at the MiniMadMod60's site. When MSN closed in February 2009, I migrated the "The First Colleen Corby Fan Community" over to Multiply--it can be seen there via it's new address corbyfans.mulitply.com where it continues to grow and entertains visitors from all over the world. Statistic trackers indicate visitors there from Detroit to Dubai and beyond.

Today, I enjoy administrating and meandering down memory lane at the corbyfans website at Multiply corbyfans.multiply.com making a hobby of continuing to collect Colleen Corby and other 1960's imagery. I enjoy scanning, restoring, and posting photographs from my own vintage magazine collections. Because of present day technology, many of my scans reveal things that even the original magazine page did not clearly show. For instance, a model's broken fingernail shows up clearly in a large scan and fashion details are more happily evident. Blowing up pictures is so much fun! Please remember to not directly copy my work. Instead, include it in your "favorites". Otherwise, if you copy my work into your own photostream you are simply duplicating my photostream which would create redundancy and make my sharing here at Flickr a pointless effort. Again, feel free to "collect" my work in your "favorites" section, not directly into your photostream. Thank you.

P.S. Shooby32 is the only person who has my permission to show my scans on his Flickr site. Many but not all of "his collection" are my scans because he thought they would be lost forever after MSN Groups shut down, so, he placed them on Flickr to preserve them. All others using my scans will be held accountable.
