I have always collected man-made objects, mostly transistor radios and plastics. But often other things will creep in because they are just beautiful. I don't go for 'quantity'. I once had 150 transistor radio and realized one day that a lot of them were just plain ugly. So I sold most of them, keeping the nicest ones. But I also keep examples of, what I consider to be, bad design and also kitsch and crazy designs.

Pyrex and other kitchenalia made of glass, metal and gadgets is just another area of interest and I have separated it out from my plastic passion.

I have been involved with design as a designer/maker and as a university lecturer since the early '70's.
