I have dinked around with photography since I was in grade school and won a camera. I have had many cameras since then. I got my first 35mm SLR in 1974 which was an old Exa with a few lenses. Everything was manual on it. I got my first modern film SLR in 1987 when I bought a Pentax SF-1 which was an autofocus camera. My first digital camera was given to me for Christmas 2002 and was a Sony Mavica CD400. That turned the monster loose! I have since then purchased a Pentax *istDS in 05 and a Pentax K10D in 07. Since then I have duplicated both of the *istDS and K10D. I consider myself an advanced amateur photographer.
