Travis Houze is a portraiture and street photographer located in Washington DC. His main inspiration to discover photography came from studying the photographs his mother had taken when she was younger. Later, he began to finally make photography his passion in 2006, which led him from shooting school yearbook photographs to having his photographs of musical artists featured in internet publications. When it comes to Travisʼ images, he wants to put focus on the overall composition along with the color, tone, and texture within the photograph. Travis believes in evoking many different thoughts and views from his imageʼs along with scenes culturally relevant into todays society.
