I am passionate about art! I'm a painter and have used a number of different canvases in the past but decided to use my ancestral teachings in my work. I grew up making Ukrainian Pysanky Easter eggs with my Grandmother. The ancient symbols and their meanings are so beautiful I wanted to make it a part of my everyday life and share it with others. Upon researching the history of Pysanka symbols, I found that their beginnings were discovered on ancient cave dwellings and 'pieces of pottery', and so my inspiration of painting pottery began. Loving the symbols and colors so much, I recently expanded my art to canvas, wooden boxes, ceramic vases and jewelry. Each piece is hand painted, therefore has it's own one of kind uniqueness. My art is a tribute to the talent my Grandmother passed on to me.
