Not sure what you say when asked this question, I mean how do you describe yourself? If I asked my friends they would probably say loyal, helpful, scatty and independent. If on the other hand I asked my step-daughter to describe me i would think she would say the wicked witch of the west one day, lovely the next, so who knows. So I will say this I like to try new things, I try to take each day as it comes and I try really really hard not to worry about the future.

My partner and myself have been renovating houses for 26 years, we have just finished renovating and sold a huge house here the Algarve. It is over 1000 square metres, it had 13 bedrooms and 17 bathrooms but was completely illegal in its previous form. However we found a work around and managed to get the house down to 8 bedroom and 11 bathrooms, two living rooms, a bar, two indoor kitchens, a dining room and an outdoor kitchen attached to the pool! I have to say it was our biggest and best renovation to date! We have since renovated a 3 bedroom apartment with a garden and we are currently finishing the villa we live in and its annexe, we will be selling this villa and moving to a smaller property. It does mean though that I havent been able to continue making jewellery...the dust drives you bonkers when you live in a renovation! I am going to start again and I have already made and sold some of my jewellery the proceeds of which have gone to the many animal charities here in the Algarve.
