[Sept 2011] I'm currently in the process of splitting off my personal and family photos from my 'public' photos, for which I've created this separate account. It's a bit of a slow process, thanks to Flickr disabling useful applications like Flickrdown. That's why everything may have about the same 'taken on' date (update: EXIF data seems to have been preserved, so that's good).

All of the photos have been taken by me.

Once everything old is uploaded, I'll start loading my new photos, then start adding names, descriptions and tags to all the old ones.

Started writing English translations for the historical markers in History. This may take a long time, so I should probably skip ahead to doing names tags and basic descriptions for everything else.

Realized that for a lot of my historical marker photos, there's no way of telling where they are (besides geotagging) or seeing what they're referring to. Started going around to some of these places and taking wider shots to use as context. Still working out what to do with them.
