I first started taking pictures in 1986, and still use the Minolta x-370 I commandeered from a relative. :D I love that camera.

My technical proficiency isn't where I'd like it to be. I've been using my intuition for picture taking, but nothing beats a good educational knowledge of the tool you're using. So, I'm trying to read up.
