I was a keen photographer for many years in the film era but then my life headed in a different direction until a couple of chance circumstances in early 2010 reawoke my passion and I moved into the digital era and decided to take it far more seriously.

Born and brought up near Crewe but well travelled since,

I now live in North Devon and have a veritable feast of locations available for landscape photography.

I have now decided to create some galleries of what I consider to be some of the best shots that I have come across during my time on Flickr. When inspiration is lacking, then this the place to come.

It is very much a work in progress.

Having had a grandfather and great grandfather who worked for the LNW and LMS railways, it is possibly not surprising that I had interest in railways from a young age. It must be in the genes as I was never fortunate enough to meet my grandfather. Sadly, the railways have changed and not for the better, in my view, but I have a large collection of railway photo which will hopefully find its way here in time. So I ask those who are not so interested to bear with me.

More than anything else, I hope you ALL enjoy looking.
