Photography has been my passion since the mid 1970's.

Seeing something interesting or unusual in ordinary, day to day subject matter and then portraying it well is the fun and challenge of photography for me.

Photographers that had the most influence on my photography are Andreas Feininger, Freeman Patterson, Jerry Uelsmann, but also many others as well.

I started collecting cameras in 1980 and later anything else related to photography.

Got into digital photography in 2008 with the Olympus E-3 DSLR and some basic lenses. Later I upgraded to the Olympus E-5 as my main camera and bought myself some really sweet Pro ED 2.0 lenses: 150mm, 50mm and 35-100mm ( big big lens) .

Since 2019 I am now using the Sony RX10 M4 and I love it. For macro shots I still use myOlympus E-5 with the awesome 50mm F 2.0 macro lens, the ring flash system and the Olympus Twin Flash system as well. I am not giving up on Olympus and will continue using the E-5 with my wonderful lenses - but not as often.

My first ever two cameras (Agfa Record II, Revueflex E) were handed down to me by my dad, I bought my first SLR in 1974,

a Revueflex 3003. Always carrying a camera with me since the pocket cameras and Kodak Instamatics from way back. Over the years these ones were my regular cameras

Revue pocket 450 - Minox 35 EL - Olympus OM-2n - Kodak Advantix 3700 IX - Olympus OM 4T - Olympus OM 1n - Olympus IS-3 DLX.
