I am a happy person who has loved art my entire life; I have developed some visual limitations, but with the help, encouragment and support of others, I have faith that those limitations are not going to stop me! There, that says it briefly.

Let me take this opportunity to WELCOME YOU and invite you into my cyber-home!

My site is decidated to my hero, my sainted Grandmother who LOVED bright colors. Also to my parents who taught me to love and surround myself with beauty.

"Whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are beautiful . . . Think on these things.". Ecclesiates

I care about those elders who have gone before me; they are great teachers about life. Dr. Richard Morgan's writing has inspired me greatly. As a result, this is a photo-blog.

My camera was a fancy, costly FILM SLR, but now I'm using all the MANUAL capabilities of a nice Canon Point and Shoot - pushing it to its manual-max - before I buy a new, pricier DSLR.

My photostream is more about the world around me than all about me (you may see an occasional "eye' shot of me, but self-portraits - not so much) . . . if you'd like to learn about me, take a minute to scan my groups. Each one says something about ideas that matter to me. I know it's cliche, but the groups of people I surround myself with says a lot about me.

May the blessings you need be the blessings you receive,

nightshooter09

P.S. For many visually-impaired photographers, light issues complicate problems. So I edit my photos and create some set-ups when it's dark-ish, hence nightshooter09. I believe I can see my photos on my computer a bit better without daylight. With my visual limitations, I miss some typos; thanks for your small graces toward me.

Oh, also for inspiration on life story writing, leaving a legacy or helping elders do this, may I suggest checking out a dear man and guide, Dr. Richard Morgan: www.richardmorganauthor.com/

Time's of the essense - my life's fleeting; PLEASE FORGIVE ME if I'm slow or haven't responded to a comment. Thank you.

PLEASE SEE MY CONTACTS' photos and my faves of theirs ... my contacts are MUCH better photographers than myself!

Some flickrites call me "Auntie" nightshooter, if you were born after 1970, you may too! ;->

PEACE is a cause I champion: Peace, I believe, takes more inner strength than conflict. So when I select friends and my Flickr contacts, I look for a quality indicating that one shares or sees through a lens of peace also.

WISHING YOU PEACE.

I only met nightshooter09 a short time ago, but I feel like I’ve known her all my life! She is the most attentive friend anyone could wish for and her selflessness should be an inspiration to all who are lucky enough to meet her! She has a passion for life that I haven’t come across before which comes across in her beautiful photographs. Her photos are not only pictorial representations of the world around her, they also represent a whole set of emotions that are imbedded deep within them! She spreads inspiration and encouragement wherever she goes with her comments/invites/awards and humour. I’m honoured that she added me as a contact and hope that our friendship lasts as long as her beautiful photos.

"I don't remember when I met Nightshooter09, I have had a stroke and that changes my memory, however I think I have always known Nightershooter. She has been my inspiration, she held my feet in place as I climbed the mountain, she has pushed me to see the world around me in it's mode of humor to the point of laughing so hard your ribs hurt. She has so many gifts, the first being the gift of written communication, expressing words on paper. The reader effortlessly absorbs the words into imagery, providing a clear stage of activity. Second, what Nightshooter didn't catch on film before, she now catches on a microchip. Her eyes, though limited, see the world much more clearly than those with perfect sight. Her record of the world is a legacy to the rest of us to always cherish. Third, she inspires with a gentle friend's push . . ."Okay now, so get back to it in life !" She doesn't let you sit on your hands for any reason, even if they are cold. Go do something to warm then up. My own personal art has become better because of Nightshooter09's influence. I haven't pushed of late and I've been told it's time to get off my hands and create.Nightshooter causes the pace to quicken and turns the day to 24 hours of accomplishment, the more you do the better the day becomes. This is my testimonial. I have been given so much more from Nightshooter09 than I have given back. Scott L. Hendrie
