Shatterglass Studios is an award winning new media development and film production company dedicated to producing high-quality, high-impact media that resonates with the modern and multi-sensory appetite of today’s culture.

Based in central Illinois, Shatterglass Studios is a small team of young creative individuals who pride themselves on understanding the intricacies of influential and meaningful multi-media and film. In 2007, Shatterglass Studios produced the award winning short film “Sugar“. Since that time, “Sugar” has been an official selection in over 15 film festivals and won such awards as “Best Cinematography”, “Best Editing”, “Best Short Film” and “The Grand Jury Prize”. The film has been viewed over 23,000 times on Youtube (and other sites) and has been seen in festivals around the world and has appeared on the front page of Funny or Die.

Members of Shatterglass Studios were also Co-Producers and Production Managers of the award winning dance-musical “Leading Ladies” (Summer 2009) starring Benji Schwimmer, (Season 2 winner of So You Think You Can Dance), Melanie LaPatin (choreographer of The Thomas Crowne Affair), cinematographer Pete Biagi (The Company and A Prairie Home Companion) and Tony Award winning costume designer Markas Henry (Elf, Thoroughly Modern Millie & Beauty and the Beast). The film recently won the 2010 Showcase Award at the Sonoma International Film Festival, played two nights at Newfest & received a positive review in Variety Magazine.

We not only offer expertise in the field of media production and development, but we are constantly studying new techniques and trends and applying them to our work. With a subtle balance of design, composition and emotion, we create commercials, corporate branding, music videos and short films.
