Have taken photos from early on. First camera was one of those kodak cameras, where the case opened to become a handle. First big camera was a Practika with 35mm, 55mm, 135mm and a 500mm lens. Finally went over to the "dark side" and got digitized. Will take pictures of almost anything - just like to take pictures! And of course, still waiting for that perfect shot.....

Uncle "Trunkle" is a nickname I am quite happy with.

Long story shortened.

Went on a trip to South Africa. Loads of 35mm pics (over 700!).

Back home, got them developed. met a mate of my nephews' - "Can I have a look?".

Obviously, too many but one of them was of an elephant.

In a flash of inspiration (or lunacy) he said "Uncle Trunkle!"

There are quite a few folk who call me Trunkle now.
