Hi, you may know me as Diana, but that name was taken so I'm using my nickname Cata, which is short for Catalina (my middle name).

I'm a Visual Arts students at York University. I love portraiture and landscape photography, and I prefer film to digital, especially black and white! My favourite photographers are Graciela Iturbide (from Mexico; check out her photo essays "Images of the Spirit" and "Birds"), Cecil Beaton (British; he did very glamorous portraits back in the 30s-50s of various celebrities, his lighting is amazing), and Seydou Keita (from Mali, lovely and ironic portraits of Bamako society, I love his use of patterns and attention to detail).
