Michael is a master, an artist and a teacher. He sees beauty with his eyes, inspires with his photos, and encourages with his words. He is that rare talent with the ability to draw you in with a fresh perspective and presentation. How many people can frame a shot that will grab the viewer's attention, even when displayed as a tiny thumbnail? His style is distinctive and unique. His photography speaks the soul's language, always touching, evolving, and yet consistantly soothing. I for one feel blessed to have crossed paths with such a kindred person. I was fortunate to find Michael's Flickr page early in my Flickr'ing. I kept seeing his comments on other people's photos and every time he had nothing but positive things to say, even when providing tips and guidance. I found my way to his site and couldn't believe the amazing places he visits/lives and the wonderful photos he takes. Michael's shots show the intimacy of nature in my opinion. Not just snapshots of places and animals but the emotion of the moment. I remember Michael's photos long after viewing them. Thanks for being there and for being you Michael!
