As an art major in college, I never used a computer for image-making. Now it's all I do. I started using Photoshop out of convenience and sheer necessity. Although I crave the smell of linseed oil and turpentine and long to pick up a brush to fling paint onto a freshly-stretched canvas, I'm skeptical my mouse-trained hand would remember how.

Perhaps someday.

For now, I try to carve out a couple hours a week for digital creation, making primary use of images presented by generous Creative Commons users along with a few of my own. I consider most of my images experimental, exercises of design. I'm just dabbling in this thing called Photoshop, waiting for that happy accident to occur which allows for the creation of something noteworthy and truly magical.
