When I first joined flickr in 2009 it was mainly a place to post photos of Chico, our Saluki / Whippet x. I got hooked and started taking many more pictures of anything else really that we come across during our daily walks. I particularly enjoy taking macro shots of flowers and plants. Plenty of captures on my stream will be flower shots but I also like to show you some of the beautiful scenery that surrounds me.
I started uploading shots taken with a Fuji Finepix A303, the camera was getting old (had owned it since 2003) and I wanted a little more control so I moved on to a Canon Powershot SX110IS and now I'm using a Canon EOS 500D most of the time, although the Powershot is great for macros. I've got 2 lens kits with my 500D, EF-S 18-55mm IS and EF-S 55-250mm IS. new addition in 2012 bridge camera Fuji Finepix HS30EXR

2013: nifty fifty Canon EF50mm F/1.8 II

I have had to slim down my stream due to the 1000 photos restriction so I've deleted well over half (about 1600) of my photos in order to make room for future uploads. In the process, I ended up deleting some of my explore photos which I have now uploaded again. I have created another account for my crafting, paint pouring, silk painting, sewing etc. and will also start uploading other photos to this new account again, see www.flickr.com/photos/197308445@N03/

Seitdem kenne ich Carol als eine Person, die immer nach vorne schaut. Sie will immer lernen und probiert viele Dinge aus. Wichtig für sie sind dabei auch technische Details der Fotografie. Es ist toll, Carol und Chico über die Fotos bei einigen ihrer täglichen Spaziergänge zu begleiten!
