I'm an amateur photographer. Just started SLR photography in April 2009. I bought my first digital camera ie Sony cybershot in 2001 and used to like shooting pictures of anything, but never get serious about photography. in March 2009, after much contemplations, I finally bought my first Canon DSLR EOS 350D (Rebel XT). All a sudden I found out that there are limitless control taking pictures, particularly controlling the DOF, which you will never able to do it with a normal point and shoot camera. As my interest fires up, I have also explored on lenses. Till now, I have Canon 50mm 1.4 prime lens, Canon 24-105mm F4L , Tamron 18-200mm (don't know why i wasted my $$ on this lens) and also EF 16-35mm mkii. My main interests in photography are landscape, city scape, sea scape and some portraits. Despite my obsession with HDR technique which I learned from Flickr, I am trying other ways to do my shots. by Artie, Kaj Bjurman, Eric Roussett and Suck In Customs. They are like the "gods" of HDR, and I'm their fervent follower.

I hope through Flickr's comments/critiques I could be a better photographer one day.
