just starting to learn about photography. i've got a Canon Ixus 750 which is a compact digital but has a lot of features (most of which i don't how to use, yet). last year for my birthday i received from my dad a Nikon Coolpix L100 which was really nice. takes really great shots up close. and for xmas last year i got money towards a Olympus E620 which is a 4/3 slr. i really love it. it's really light and so are the lenses in the kit which is really good for me as i don't have the steadiest of hands. 4/3 means the lenses are twice the focal length they normally are so i'm not lugging round heavy kit. it's a lot to take in and learn but looking towards having lots of fun in the process.
