I am a landscape designer. My specialty is wildlife friendly gardens which include bird and butterfly gardens. My favourite trees include Pinus strobus (White Pine), Ginkgo biloba (Maidenhair Tree) and Quercus rubra (Red Oak). My favourite shrubs include Amelanchier alnifolia (Serviceberry), any and all Viburnums (especially Judd Viburnum) and Azalea species. My favourite perennials can't be shortened to just a few because I love perennials - but if I had to choose a couple... Liatris spicata (Blazing Star), Chelone obliqua (Rose Turtlehead), Phlox subulata (Creeping Phlox), Hostas!! and Heuchera species (Coral Bells)... that was hard! :D

I love making gemstone jewelry and recently found a passion for carving wood.
