I love the outdoors, wildlife, art, music, and enjoy roadtrips.
Photography is a hobby that I really enjoy and have a lot of fun with, especially when my son - www.flickr.com/photos/photographybyderekg/ - or a friend and I go wandering around looking for interesting things.
I am always surprised to see the differences in what we capture in photos, being in the same area at the same time.
I am impressed by the talent so many of you share with us through your photos and art. I have learned from my visits to your Photostreams and hope to learn much more. I appreciate the comments and critiques you leave, they give me encouragement to get better.
I try and do the best I can with the moment I'm there, but it's not always the prettiest moment of light or weather.
Every once in awhile I might sneak in a painting or drawing I have done.
I hope you find a photo of a place, or thing here you haven't seen before and enjoy it.
