Profile update April 2011:

A certain special person in my life recently got me my first D-SLR after over a year of me using my little digital one. I couldn't be more in love with my Olympus or my man.

After completing the long winded and epic 365 Project on my little digi, I'm embarking on a more exciting adventure with my big digi. I'm not sure what yet. I've been asked to do 365 again, but I think I'm going to save that for 365 of excitement in a new life rather than the end of final year and a summer of love. Although said Summer of Love shall be documented. I'm a big fan of macro photography, I'm a bit of a flower photo whore but I'm starting on the whole portraiture thing, starting with myself before moving onto the wider world of other people.

I love catching the small details, hence my love of macro and portrait although you can't beat an impressive landscape or a candid moment at a party. I am in no ways a photograph snob. I like almost everything and have no grounds to critique other people's photos except to tell them how much I like it. So bear with me while I get to grips with the more technical side of photography and hopefully I'll produce something worth noticing =)
