The Fordham College Democrats were established in 1963 by Paul Maxwell and John O'Donnell with the idea that it would be the group to give Fordham students a new progressive path to follow and one day end apathy on the campus all together. Forty-six years later, it has nearly met its original goal. Throughout the organizations time on campus, it has brought many influential people to the school that have given students a different perspective.
