Regan is in the top five photographers I know on Flickr and he's not fifth either. Regan and Chris Friel have had the biggest influence on my work over the last year or so. I think we share a love of flat landscapes with a touch of desertion and melancholy, he captures the spirit of place far better than I do. To my mind he's better than 90% of so called professional photographers. This mans work is world class. If you are ever in England Regan this will cost you a pint of best bitter.

Regan has mastered quite a few things in his wonderful photography: the tilt shift lens, stunning winter minimalism, sweeping landscapes, lonely and dilapidated buildings, roads that stretch across the plains and vanish into seemingly never ending distances, long exposures, delightful portraits of his son, and so much more. I am always drawn to his acute sense of the perfect choice of composition and and uncanny knack for always finding exquisite tones.
