Currently working for a Train Operating Company in the timetable planning and publicity department, I have also been an illustrator and for a number of years spent most of my time devoted to producing bespoke model railway items for collectors.

A self confessed rail nut, I have in the last 5 years rekindled an interest in the bus world primarily after rescuing two AEC Reliances for restoration.

Grew up in East Lancashire, then fled to Cornwall as soon as I was 18 and spent the next 11 years in various out of the way Cornish villages before moving to Torquay. Joined the railway in 2003 and in a strange twist of fate found myself back in the North West again in 2006 after vowing never to move back!
