Having not picked up a proper camera for over 20 years (my teens), I decided earlier this year, for some reason, to purchase a new camera.

I Bought a Sony A700 (I grew up with hand-me-down Minolta's from my father) with a Sony (Zeiss) 16mm-80mm lens and have not looked back.

I have become a little addicted and, contrary to my previous belief (that nothing could better film), I have discovered a different world in digital photography.

I have since bought a Sigma 10mm-20mm wide zoom (I must stop spending money) which I find perfect for landscapes and am still in the experimental stage of HDR imaging but loving every minute of it.
