I've been around cameras all my life as my dad loved his photography. I bought my first SLR in 1987 - an Olympus OM10 though I’ve used Canon Digital since 2007. My interest in photography fluctuates anywhere between committed and obsessive and is now a mix of images from my travels, local shots and over the past couple of years i've been trying candid / street shots too.

My Flickr portfolio is quite random, partly because I’ve kept most of my digital shots from the past 20 years and tend to upload whatever grabs my attention. I find it amazing what today’s technology can do for older shots to really bring them to life and there are lots of examples within my portfolio.
