My father loved his photography so i've been around cameras for as long as I can remember. My own journey started in 1985 when I bought my first SLR, an Olympus OM10. My 'thing' at that time was motorsport and I moved to Minolta in 1989 to take advantage of their autofocus system, then their digital SLR - which suffered from their annoying start-up errors. Following the demise of my Minolta I opted for a Canon 5d in 2007 and I’ve stuck with Canon since then.

As well as generating new photos on my travels I’ve kept my digital images going back nearly 20 years which I’m working though. With the benefit of more available time and motivated by many of the talented people on here I’m pushing myself to create quality images rather than just snaps.
