I am a professionally trained artist/photographer from Brisbane QLD Australia.

I am an impressionist at heart and my work is focused on light and the impact it plays on the imagery I create.

I shoot a variety of genre from our home studio in the country including model portfolios, portraits, art images together with my interesting travel photography and motor-sports.

The play of light, shape, form and texture form the basis of my images. I am an impressionist at heart and love painterly light!

My current work is about exploration of the bridge between digital painting, traditional painting and photography.

My current art projects reflect this view and attempt to link current techniques and media, to age old concepts and imagery.

I have a home studio where I can explore the range of lighting that can influence the images that I create. As we live in the country near Logan Village, I also have extensive outdoor locations and available light to experiment with.

I have a passion for close intimate portraits and beautifully shaped hands, and eye connection with the camera. I want my models to look through the lens to the viewer and make a personal connection. I believe these images are most powerful.

My post production work is directed at enhancing the image, but not overpowering the model or the impact of the lighting. I particularly enjoy tonality of the black and white image.
